Rating Guide (NTRP)
An NTRP rating is a numerical measure of a player’s tennis ability, ranging from 1.5 (beginner) to 7.0 (touring professional). It reflects a player’s current skill level and can also be used to track improvement as their game develops over time.
NTRP ratings are widely used for tournament entry and seeding, ensuring fair and competitive match play. In leagues and non-elimination formats, ratings are especially helpful for grouping players of similar ability, creating more balanced and enjoyable competition for everyone.
